Sponsor a Student

“Whoever takes a path upon which to obtain knowledge, God makes the path to Paradise easy for him.” – Hadith

“An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.” – Benjamin Franklin

Would you like to support a meritorious and deserving student in Pakistan? The SKF Sponsor a Student Scheme invites you to contribute to one year of tuition and living expenses of a student.

SKF scholarship winners (SKF Fellows) are meritorious students from underprivileged backgrounds who need financial support to complete their academic or professional degrees in order to be able to stand on their own feet.

SKF offers a scholarship of PKR 10,000 per month (approx. US$38 per month) to each SKF fellow. A list of current SKF fellows can be reviewed on the SKF website.

If you would like to sponsor a student for a year, you may wish to donate PKR 120,000 (or US$460). This donation could be in your name or in the name (for the isaal-e-sawab) of your parents or someone else you would like to be formally remembered and thanked. For example, a donor may wish to name a sponsorship after her or his parents, such as Mr. Shakeel Chaudhry Scholarship, Or Mr. and Mrs. Naila Farooqi Scholarship, etc. SKF will ensure to provide such scholarship to a meritorious and deserving student, make this announcement on its website, and also inform you about which student was supported by your generous donation.
